Our response - a wonderfully tactile, one-of-a-kind Tibetan rug by Stephanie Odegard, a stunning mirror from Dessin Fournir, a curvaceous honed marble top side table and crisscross gold leaf coffee table (commissioned by us). Accessories are the bare minimum - rich-hued Baccarat crystal sea shells (a gift from the client's children), a simple stone lamp ($130.00) and the homeowner's own hand-wrought stone bowl piled high with pink pepper berries. Just visible to left is a crisp linen upholstered club chair - notice the curve of the arm. The chair is our own. Delicious Thai silk pillows add luxe to the equation. This is a living room that marries old and new with great style.
