Starting from a sketch on a napkin, we worked with long term clients to craft an exciting vacation residence in the Carolina Highlands. Devoted modernists, our clients wanted a mountain retreat without a trace of tartan plaid, dark interiors or the "mandatory" stuffed animal. By all measures, this living room is a striking departure from the expected. Spectacular furniture, lighting elements, and art all combine to create a sophisticated and eminently livable mountain escape: a bit of "Park Avenue in the Highlands".
