This view from living to dining room “registers” with everyone lucky enough to experience it in person. Floors are bare, the better to emphasize art and architecture. We placed a weathered marble urn on a modern “ziggaret-inspired” pedestal just outside the doorway to the glorious bay-windowed dining space. You can just catch a glimpse of one of a pair of extraordinary, rare, 18th century Swedish iron and crystal sconces we discovered for our clients, and a glimmer of a wonderful Rose Tarlow Federal-style mirror. Topping the sideboard: our signature water gilded silver candlestick lamps.
