This detail from our highly acclaimed room in the 2003 NSO Decorator's Show House illustrates a few of our favorite things. The Lyle & Umbach Starburst Lamp (in cast bronze) is one of our perennial favorites. Clean, classic and spectacularly crafted, it has a presence and solidity that "grounds the room." The lacquered two-tier book table is our design, and very special (we have this item made to order). We love the look of the vintage shagreen boxes too. Here we have carefully edited each object - a device that creates spaces for accumulated treasures AND heightens the interest and importance of those items displayed.
