Okay, there's (almost) no color. (It is, after all a close-in shot of an ebony-finish piano, a Christopher Norman iron and granite spiral table, a vintage lyre, and "killer" wing chair created by Dessin Fournir - the real color in the room is just out of view.) But this photo illustrates our mantra: above all... line, form and mass. The "lyrical" (ouch!) lines, sculpted forms and balanced masses create a sense of architecture and integration. Color is nothing without a basis in line and form. Take a photocopy of your favorite room in black and white. Does it still work? That's the test. We think this room passes with flying colors. |
