This detail from our latest show house highlights our passion for quality and detail. Good design is about synergy and to some extent "kismet." Often, this is just a function of good project planning, anticipating the unexpected, and finding creative "out of the box" solutions. Sometimes, it's just being in the right place at the right time and finding just the right thing. Our signature diamond quilted ultrasuede pillow is a new take on Mlle. Chanel's favorite. We took the form of a flea market find - a $15 brass and bakelite side table - and translated its timeless spareness into a sophisticated bronze and glass multi-tiered side table. Two floor pillows of straw add texture. An old staple, mohair, is excitingly fresh in an unexpected color: not quite chartreuse, but "celery". You can't see it here, but a vintage Tommi Parzinger lamp, designed in the late 1940's, is renewed with nickel plating, and could have been designed today - it's that good. |
